Cancellation Information

Venous Symposium has been monitoring the situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and its impact upon travel and meetings. Our top priority, at VS is the health and safety of our participants. Given the rapidly changing circumstances and unknown nature of this virus we have decided to postpone VS 2020 until July 30-August 1, 2020.

 

Registered attendees have 3 options available to them:

 

  1. All registrations will automatically be transferred to the new July dates.
  2. Registered attendees may choose to apply their current registration to Venous Symposium 2021 which will take place on April 15 – 17 at the Sheraton New York Times Square.
  3. If you wish to receive a refund please send a written request to registration@ccmcme.com before April 20, 2020. Please allow 30 days for the refund to be processed.

 

All hotel reservations made under the Venous Symposium room block at the Sheraton New York Times Square will be automatically cancelled. If you booked outside of the Venous Symposium room block, please contact the hotel directly to make your cancellation.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. We hope that you can join us in July 2020.

For Attendees

* Will my registration fee be refunded? All registrations will be automatically transferred to the new July dates. Registered attendees may choose to apply their current registration to Venous Symposium 2021 which will take place on April 15 – 17 at the Sheraton New York Times Square. If you wish to receive a refund please send a written request to registration@ccmcme.com before April 20, 2020. Please allow 30 days for the refund to be processed.

 

* Will my hotel reservation be canceled? All hotel reservations made under the Venous Symposium room block at the Sheraton New York Times Square will be automatically cancelled. If you booked outside of the Venous Symposium room block, please contact the hotel directly to make your cancellation.

 

* Are you refunding flight or travel costs? No. We will not refund individual travel costs. Please contact your provider for information and next steps.

 

* I was granted a VS scholarship, what happens now? Your scholarship approval will still be valid for the new dates in July. Your registration will automatically be transferred to the new date unless you notify us in writing at Mlescanofeher@ccmcme.com that you are not available to attend the meeting over the new dates, in which case you will be removed from the scholarship list. If you booked a room outside of the Venous Symposium room block please be sure to cancel it. You are also responsible for canceling all travel arrangements.

 

* Will I have to resubmit my abstract? No. If you received approval to present your abstract in the form of a digital poster, the approval is still valid for the new dates in July. New abstracts may be sent to abstracts@venous-symposium.com for review. Please notify us via email at Mlescanofeher@ccmcme.com if you wish to withdraw your abstract.

* Will the exhibitor fees & pre-purchased marketing opportunities be refunded? Exhibitor fees & pre-purchased marketing opportunities will automatically be transferred to the new dates. If you wish to receive a refund, please contact exhibitsales@ccmcme.com before (insert date). Please allow 30 days for the refund to be processed.

 

* Will my hotel reservation be canceled and refunded? All hotel reservations made under the Venous Symposium room block at the Sheraton New York Times Square will be automatically cancelled and refunded. If you booked outside of the Venous Symposium room block, please contact the hotel directly to make your cancellation.
