Phlebo-lymphedema

65 Year old male with a history of CVD, presents with 5 month history of worsening right lower extremity edema. The edema is progressive in nature with recent acute exacerbation over the past month. Patient has had recurrent episodes of cellulitis in the right leg, recently requiring IV antibiotics. Compliant with leg elevation, non-compliant with ECS. No history of VTE.

Previous interventions include:

  • Right GSV ligation and stripping.
  • Left GSV EVA, SSV EVA. Several sessions of UGS.
