Evaluation of a patient with lower extremity swelling

  • 67 yo female presented with 1-year history of BLE edema (LT>RT), which has progressively worsened over last 3 months.
  • Swelling is mild in the morning and becomes severe at the end of the day.
  • Denies any leg pain. Left leg becomes tired with prolonged standing. No visible varicose veins or skin damage.
